The LGA battery locomotive is a modern, zero-emission transport solution from Becker MineTrans®, designed for transporting personnel, equipment, and materials in underground mines. Thanks to its explosion-proof design (Ex) and advanced drive system, the LGA combines high performance with maximum safety and operational comfort.

The LGA can be operated both in an explosion-proof version (Ex) and in a standard version (non-Ex), allowing flexible adaptation to the needs of mining operations and specific working environments.

It is an ideal solution for transport in methane hazard zones, tunnels, and facilities requiring quiet and reliable operation.

Intelligent Energy and Efficiency

The LGA locomotive is equipped with a modular battery system featuring an integrated Battery Management System (BMS) and PLC, which monitor operating parameters, cell condition, and the charging process.

A kinetic energy recovery system (regeneration) extends the operating time between charging cycles and improves overall energy efficiency.

Thanks to CANBUS communication and Industry 4.0 / IoT capabilities, the locomotive can be integrated into Becker MineTrans® systems for monitoring and predictive diagnostics.
