The LZS-150 is an explosion-proof diesel locomotive with a rack-and-pinion drive system, designed for the transportation of machinery, materials, and personnel in both horizontal and inclined underground workings.
Thanks to its innovative rack-and-pinion design, the machine can operate on conventional locomotive tracks as well as on tracks equipped with a rack rail. This enables operation on gradients of up to ±30° without the need for material reloading.
