KSZ is an explosion-proof electric floor-mounted shunting machine designed for transporting heavy materials, equipment, and components of longwall systems.
Thanks to its compact design, high tractive force, and strong resistance to underground conditions, the KSZ is an indispensable machine during the installation, relocation, and handling of heavy components in longwall mining areas.
The machine is designed with an electric rack-and-pinion drive system, ensuring maximum traction even on gradients of up to ±35°.

Power and Safety in One System
The KSZ machine uses two three-phase induction motors with friction brakes, transmitting torque to gear wheels cooperating with the rack rail.
The drive system ensures smooth and precise maneuvering, even in difficult conditions and on steep gradients.
The entire machine is remotely controlled via radio, ensuring operator safety and easy handling in confined underground spaces.
